Question on length of orthodontics

#1 Post by HeatherLynn »

Hi! I was reviewing my orthodontist papers and my payment plan is spread out over two years because that includes two years of appointments. Does anyone know if that means I'll be in braces for two years? Or does that include a few appointments after they come off? The oral surgeon was thinking around 18 months in braces, with surgery at the 6-9 month point.

I can't say for sure, but I would imagine about two years in braces... my Orthodontist told me it could be as little as 18 months or as many as 30 for me... it just depends on how you react to the treatment.
