I hate to be such a pooper on this but I am completely questionning why I did the braces thing at all. I got them on yesterday and I am so, so, sore, even worse than with my spacers. Honestly I just want to cry. Everyone says they get better so I am just praying mine do.

Hello Bracedmom
Just hang in there, mine are starting to get pretty sore as well. But I just keep telling myself " 2 1/2 years is not that long ". Think about a past experience that lasted around 2 years. Maybe college or a certain job. Now that you look back on it, didn't it go by very quickly. Your braces will be the same.

Your mouth will get used to having all this stuff shoved in there.

Hope this helps a little.
