wow KK that is fantastic progress, your teeth are looking very good, and isn't it amazing the way not just your teeth but your whole mouth/lips seem so different. A bit more relaxed or something. You must be delighted with your progress
That's it, I officially designate you to be my role model!! Looking great, I hope I can match your progress. Your pics are really great, what camera do you use? I cannot seem to get anything good with my wifes Pentax Optio 230? Do you use flash or some other lighting?
Your advice to me has been spot on, I am now on day 3, still have chewing pains but at least I can now chew, managed 1/2 an apple after lunch, it sounds stupid I know, but I was proud of that!
I still feel as if my lips do not work over the brackets and I am sure my speech is affected, I asked my son about how long it took for such problems to pass and he said that I did not have a problem at all. He had full metals for about 2 years when he was around 14 or so.

Clarity ceramic uppers, In Ovation metal lowers, 18 by 25 archwires and powerchain on top front 4
I was thinking about this. If you had some IPR done between the lowers, maybe
6 or even 8 front teeth, then even with a tiny IPR, there would be some room
so that your lower arch would become a tiny bit smaller in the front when closing
the spaces of that IPR. Maybe this would create much easier a good bite in the front.
My second ortho had once a patient who had a BSSO done. They advanced the lower
jaw, but they did it a bit too much. So this patient had as a result a small class 3 bite.
I said, you could do some IPR in the front. Seemed they did that and it worked well
and fast. It can probably be calculated how much, but I can well imagine if even a very
small IPR is done, maybe 0.25 mm per tooth, then easily a total of 3 to 4 mm of space
can be created. 0.25 mm is not much, 3 to 4 mm is already almost too much. So this
is a great method, Clo thinks ...
