Do You Have Something Stuck in YOUR Teeth???

#1 Post by Graceful58 »

LOL...I do, they're called spacers! And colorful ones at that!! I got my spacers put in on Thursday and I was a bit blown away when she handed the mirror for me to take a look. They were GREEN & BLUE...I nearly fell out of the chair. I've been down the spacers road once before and I remember them being clear so NOBODY knew they were there except for me.

I've had a few people who have asked me if I had salad in my teeth and I had to explain to them what they were. I go back next week for impressions for my expander and I'm asking for clear...LOL...when I smile that's all you see is blue and green...not something I'm into. KISS = Keep It Simple Silly...I just thought I'd share. :)

I had 12 spacers put in and they were all blue except for 2 metal ones. I got a few stares but I really did not care. It actually made it easier to keep tabs on those little suckers. ( they tend to want to fall out when things start to open up ).
