Ortho Update

#1 Post by Girlinterrupted »

Heya all

Not sure if you remember me but I was meant to have my braces off yesterday (April 10th) as I hadn't had anything done with them for over a year and my Ortho had discharged me.
Well, I went and Polly(the absolurely loves dental nurse lol) said that treatment may be able to carry on where it left off. So Marc(the lovely Ortho, who is quite dashing, even if I do say so myself lmao) asked if I wanted to carry on so that my teeth could be the best they could possibly be, I asked how much it was and he said "Seeing as you're our favourite patient, we'll do it for free". Awww bless him lol.

So he fixed my brace and replaced a couple of brackets and put a new archwire on. Although, I will say this, I forgot how much my mouth aches after having my braces tightened lol. It kills. I'm usually good with pain and aches but not when they're in my mouth or stomach lol

Anywho, that's my update everyone

I shall try and post here more often. It's a lovely community :D

Thanks =]

I actually missed having them all on. It's strange how you can miss having metal in your mouth lol

Your ortho discharged you...why?

How did you come upon this ortho?

Is he the same one that discharged you?

Sorry for the stupid questions.

Lol. Yes he did. I moved out of home about a yr ago and with the hussle and bustle and my mental health getting worse, I couldn't phone them up (due to an anxiety disorder) so obviously they thought I had got another ortho or whatever lol

Yep, he's the same one. I finally managed to pluck up the courage to phone him because my braces were breaking and I want to have nice teeth. I don't want to go back to how they used to be lol. He was really nice about everything though and so understanding, which I thought he wouldn't be

Hun, they're not stupid questions :D
