Hello everybody!
I went to the ortho this morning and he finally removed the brackets on my top teeth!! (I had Damon 3 brackets on most of my teeth in order to expand my arch) I thought it was going to be a painful process, but it wasn't woohooo!
It's awesome to finally feel my teeth soo smooth (even with the retainer) They'll remove the brackets on my lower teeth in 3 weeks..(one tooth decided that it didn't want to cooperate )
My ortho also told me that he would shape my teeth a little bit, like to make them more aligned or something...do any of you know about this? How do they do that? Does it hurt?
If the ortho wants to shape your teeth, he/she's probably talking about shaving down your top teeth a little bit. I had this done; it's no big deal, you just feel a little grinding sensation and poof!...no more uneven teeth edges!
Congratulations! I got my uppers off on April 19 and got my Essix retainer on April 23.
I was really surprised about how BIG my teeth looked without those darn brackets on them. And, how fast it was to floss.
So, what did you eat when they came off? Even with the lowers still on, it's so nice to bite into a sandwich now and not clog up my brackets with bread!
uau, you'r teeth look really great, and so white!! Did you do a whitening or something? I'm seriously considering doing one after being naked, but I have some fillings and I'll have to change them all...I don't know if I'm up for that..
