i've had braces for a little over 2 weeks and i def. have noticed loose teeth, too. it seems to change every few days, but there is often a loose tooth somewhere in my mouth! thankfully, i read on this site that this is a normal side effect--the wobbliness surely would have sent me into a panic otherwise!! (it would have been nice if my ortho had let me know this is normal!) one of my teeth in particular has become so loose, i've been having flashbacks about my childhood when i was losing baby teeth! it does make chewing things a little awkward, but i've learned to appreciate it as a sign that the braces are actually doing something!

I'm so, so glad to have this forum -- I got my braces five days ago, and I have two teeth that feel loose. It's pretty nerve-wracking and also gave me flashbacks back to elementary school.

Still, I'm definitely putting a rock through my ortho's window if my teeth all fall out.

as most have said, its normal for teeth to feel loose. its part of the building/rebuilding phase of teeth movement. I received braces may 2nd and i have a couple of loose teeth

My teeth are loose also. I keep clenching and biting on my teeth in the front. They drive me nuts! Its like an itch, I feel like they will fall out they are so loose. I can't stop grinding them...is this bad?

I have extreme cold sensitivity all of the sudden today in the front right side of my mouth. It seems to be right where the most crooked tooth is. Does this mean it is moving or about to fall out from grinding my teeth?

I am worried now...has anyone else experienced this?

I agree GinaLime, this forum is such a HUGE relief! There is so much information here and everyone is so understanding. = )

One of premolar is really loose. It was supposed to grow taller, so I can push the teeth down and it jumps up. Spookie!

My canines have not been loose at all. They are suppose to move. Mybe they move sooo slowly....
