I also want to know about what I should do before I get them. My best friend who got her braces off this year told me to swish salt water, Is this common? Are there any other things I should do to prepare my sensitive gums for spacers? Thanks in advance

Hey! I was in the same boat, my parents could never afford the braces (not that we werent doing well, its just that $3,000+ could be used in a much more efficient manner) so I saved up for them and I finally got them on. I'll have them until im 22!
