Well when I got my braces on Friday, I was looking forward to getting some color on my teeth!! I thought I would get to choose some of those colored bands. I really wanted pink LOL!!
However I didn't get any color? When do you get the bands and powerchains. I know everyone is different. I was just curious how long the average time usually is?
Next time you have an appt, let them know what you want as you're sitting down in the chair. They might have assumed you wanted to be inconspicuous. I got pink the day I got my brackets and have really loved it! May go for purple or fuschia at my next appt in 12 days!
They probably just assumed you wouldn't want colours. Make sure you let them know next time as soon as you get in the chair . As for powerchains, it varies. I got one on the lowers at my first adjustment because a little gap had opened up, and I've had one on there every time since except this last adjustment. I haven't had any on the top yet though.
I am definitely going to be a bit more bold this time around. I think I might go with a brighter pink or turquoise...not quite sure yet. Im not brave enough yet to do the holiday..red white and blue style yet. Im sure by Christmas i'll be sporting red and green
Do you have brackets the require ligs (bands)? Some brackets are don't need the ligs so therefore no colors. I had Damon's they don't need ligs so I never got to have any colors
If you have brackets that need ligs just ask, they may have assumed you didn't want any color.
