So excited about a great appointment!

Got my braces on in Jan - but now I'm moving to California in December. I mentioned it to my ortho at my appt yesterday and he says we should be able to "beat the clock" and have these braces off before I leave!

We agreed that my goal was always just to get the smile straightened out - so he said that treating adults is very different from kids - and that with an adult he might not be as concerned about bite issues.....mine are minor (one slightly rotated molar) - and you can tell from the size of my behind that I've been biting just fine for 37 years!

I'm really excited about the possibility of getting them off 6 months early - and more importantly, not having to deal with a mid treatment transfer to a new ortho! yay!

Definitely not too concerned about that molar - I totally admit I was in this for the cosmetic reasons!

but I agree, if they're not ready, I'll be good and keep them on.....will have to find someone for retainer checks anyway, I imagine....
