I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!! (with pics)

Yes! After 13 months, I got them off.

Here is my before picture:

And here is my after picture:

The pictures aren't great quality because they are from my phone. My digicam has been acting up lately.

Anyways, I love my teeth! They are perfect for me. The process of getting them off was horrible though. I guess my brackets are a lot harder to get off than normal ones. There was another girl that got there the same time as me to have hers removed and was done 20 minutes earlier. It was very painful but my teeth were already sensitive from whitening them. Plus, I had tons of glue on my teeth and the tech. couldn't get it off and had to go super close to my gums. They are still really sensitive and keep bleeding.
Besides that, I'm very happy. But I'm also having trouble with my retainers. They are the clear kind and they hurt my teeth so bad. I hope this is normal.

Just thought I'd share my final result with all of you! It's been fun and I will admit that I miss my braces.

rockexrolloh, did you also have your front teeth shaped ? If so, the person who did it did an excellent job. They are a very nice shape !

WOW they look so NICE! Congrats! Did it cost you a lot extra since you had the insignia technology, or was it the same? Anyway, your results are awesome!

Wow, what a difference! They look fantastic!

Sorry you experienced that much discomfort with your debonding -- I'm sure your gums will heal quickly.
