Update: Great News!!

#1 Post by gracie381 »

I have no idea why this post ended up saying double, or what happened to my original post, but here's what it was supposed to say:

First of all, thank you for all the sweet comments!! I finally got good news this past visit to the ortho on July 27th. They removed the lingual things from the inside of my lower molars! :D Those things were driving me crazy!! I had these so my elastics could go around them and connect to my upper molars, trying to tilt my lower molars upward, if that makes sense!! LOL! Anyways, they are gone! They said they will use a little torque in my regular archwire in order to finish the job. I'm now in my finishing wires!! Yea!! Just have to wear elastics from my upper canines to my lower molars at night!! Yea again!! It could be anytime now. I go back September 7, so let's keep our fingers crossed for then. If not, it may be October, which would make it exactly 2 years!! I just can't wait!! Thanks again for all your support!! Everyone has been so wonderful on here!! I'll post some new pics as soon as I can!!

Gracie, your teeth are looking beautiful! What a difference! Your bite has closed up nicely :!:

I'm sure that your days in braces are numbered. Sure you won't miss them? :D

Amazing! And for someone who is just 1 month into this experience, it is wonderful (and very encouraging)for me to see such fantastic results.
Thanks for posting the photos and congratulations!

Sorry about that, I must have read it wrong!! I'm a little wore out!! Don't have any doubts or worries, trust me, it will all be worth it! I've had my bad moments, but now i know it was the right decision. Hang in there and you'll be glad you did. Really it's not that bad at all!!
