yep, indeed. It happened yesterday. Since my case is so complicated, I did
expect a long talk about what will done, how and why. Nothing of that all.
The assistant polished my teeth, and the ortho glued brackets to my upper
teeth. All the way back to the sevens. A wire and some ligatures. And that
was it. Yeah, I know, this is only the first step. End of this month they will
place bone anchors and later on they will activate those. Then the serious
work begins. For now, I have to enjoy this :

My gosh, I hate my bite. I still can't believe when I look at those pics I take
how bad everything looks. Last time I was there, I was told my upper eights
would need to go. After some talk, they told me it is very well possible to do
the job without extracting. More difficult but still very well doable. Now, the
ortho again said they must be extracted. Not now, but when they will start
pulling everything backwards. Need to, needn't to, need to ... gosh I really
hate such things. Anyway, I am back on track. Hopefully the right one this
time. Oh, and also this. I told them they never gave me a time estimate to
get everything done. Well, they said, you need a complete new treatment
(so this means nothing is left of the former treatments). It will surely take 2
years.
