UPDATE: MY perio surgery yesterday!!!!

#1 Post by discomom »

OMG!!! Am I glad to have THAT over with! I wish that I could say that it was pain free-but it wasn't!! Last night I got sick from the pain pill and threw up, of course I had a plastic shield in my mouth that I was to leave in for 24 hours, had to remove that to vomit. I felt terrible!! Today I am sore, but functioning! So that's good huh? Not sure if I would want to do this again anytime soon  Thanks for your support!! Lori

Glad your feeling better. What type of perio surgery did you have done?

Neelie--I had a soft graft tissue. They took skin from the roof of my mouth and grafted it onto the bottom teeth that had recession.

Lori, what a relief to have your surgery over! I'm sorry to hear of your discomfort over the medication, but at least the worst part's over now!
