3 Months progress! Wow! Pics**

#1 Post by wirerose »

I can't believe how much my teeth have moved since May 2. I just took these pictures this morning (August 19). I can't believe how much my teeth have moved in such a short amount of time! I love the way my straight teeth feel. I get my lowers on in just a few weeks. = )

Sorry they are so blurry. Sometimes my super macro focuses, sometimes it doesn't. I think this is due to the difficulty in keeping from breathing on the lens when it is practically in my mouth!

:-D :-D :-D

Thanks for the comments. I just had to post because I can't believe how much they have moved. I just started to notice that my teeth are looking really straight and feeling very lined up.

I noticed that my teeth look more yellow in the after pictures...I think this is because of the different lighting. That or they are getting yellow from the Prevident...I read that flouride can make your teeth more yellow, is this true?

Any way...I can't imagine they would just be more yellow because I brush my teeth constantly since I got these things on, both the Ortho and my Oral Hygenist have commented at how clean they are staying. : D hurray!

Wow!! :-#) I'm so impressed. I had my upper ceramic fitted 7 days ago and I'm still waiting for the day when I notice an improvement. As soon as I start to see things moving I'll definately post some pictures

Lowers on next Wednesday...

#6 Post by wirerose »

I said in my earlier post that I get my lowers in a few weeks. I just checked my calendar and I get them on next Wednesday! Wow! I wonder what they will say about my alignment so far. I would think they would have said it is going fast. But alas, my ortho and the tech who changed my wires never say anything about progress. Appointments are fast and over with before I get any feedback! This makes me think this kind of movement is just normal...hmm...

Thank you so much for all of your comments and encouragement! = D

TraceyMay, you will notice movement sooner than you think! Take pictures now so that you will have something to compare your progress. It really helps to encourage you, as you can see. Even if they are blurry lol ; ) I will keep a look out for those pics when you post them.

Thanks Dimples! I noticed that your lowers just went on not too long ago. What major differences did you notice compared to having just the uppers? I am nervous about the real drama of braces kicking in at that time because to tell you the truth..I really love these things! I am afraid that maybe I just haven't had the real pain start yet since I have only had uppers.

Thanks Ghost! Is it normal? It seems fast...like maybe everyone's teeth move like this and I just never realized because it wasn't me...I would like to think they are moving pretty fast so maybe I can finish this quicker than I expected!

Oh my goodness wirerose, your teeth are looking amazing there!! In only three months, nonetheless. That's just awesome, I'm sure you're thrilled. I think your teeth are moving at a rather fast pace, compared to mine at least. Because I thought I was experiencing faster than normal progress but when I asked the assistant one time, she said the movement's pace was normal. Boo. Keep us updated with pics though!!

That is a really dramatic change, Rose! I'm so pleased for you. I can't remember how long it took for my teeth to come into line like that, but once it did, I loved the straight edge too!
