Joe:
Say it ain't so.... (sorry, had to).

I understand your desire to become a speed flosser but I'm sure you'd rather it be right after all this time than be in a hurry and have regrets.

Hopefully October will be your month!

Mike
I wore braces (this time) for 1294 days or 3 years, 6 months and 17 days.

Aw, Joe. That's lame. :(

I tell you though, it's those last few months before braces come off when all of the little problems pop up. I don't know why it's so, but it seems to be. I think a lot of us who got debanded kept having our time extended. Certainly no fun!

Here's to Oct. 1st being the day!
Spacers: 1/26/05; 2/6/06; 3/15/06; 4/24/06
4 First Bicuspids removed: 2/2005
Metal Braces, top and bottom: 3/1/05; Debanded 7/26/07
Hawley retainers top and bottom

Joe- As a second timer with braces myself, can I ask why you had yours removed and then put back on in a rather short time frame? Good luck though with October!!!!

i had a QUACK
I am relieved to know that I am not the only one to have a quack. I too am back in my braces due to a horrible doc. The ortho I had took the braces off because he was retiring. I had to have his replecement put them back on. The good news is that I found out today that I will be getting them back off in a month. This time should be for good.

I am really nervous because the doc said he wants to do essex. I grind and clench pretty bad at night and voiced my concern about going right through them. He said he still wants to try them. I had hawleys last time and liked them much better. I guess if I go through them we will have to discuss another option. Hopefully you will be done soon too.
