Do people ever get their top braces off before their bottom or vice versa? My ortho told me that if I only got top braces it would take about 9 months but since I got both it will take 18-24 months. Will it be possible to get my top braces off when those teeth are straight?
It's possible but it depends on what needs done. My uppers have been straight for a year or so, but my bite still needs aligned which requires braces on both.
