Straighten roots and my husband is worried

#1 Post by csmorg »

I am over two years so far in orthodontic treatment. My orthodontist at the last visit put on an extra wire on my top teeth to straighten my roots, he said. This has caused my teeth in the past few weeks to slant in a funny way. My front teeth do not look straight now. They are on a slant, with the top teeth starting to go in back of my bottom teeth. I wasn't too worried, thinking at my visit on October 24th that my orthodonist would do something about it. My husband wants my to call up and go in sooner. He is very worried. He thinks my teeth or roots are going to break. What do others think? Should I call up or wait it out?
