:-)o I think!!

B-day tomorrow.

I am due to get all wired up tomorrow. Wish me luck :-#)

I am getting ceramic uppers - clarity - and metal lowers and a tpa............... Fab. Better not go near any big magnets.

Seems like a lot to get done all in one go and the appointment is only 40 minutes. Maybe my ortho is going for some sort of world record. How come some people get 2 hour appointments?? Have been told to take a bottle of water to sip as the glue is bitter.

Am pretty cool with the braces - I think - but am still freaked about the tpa. Will just have to see how it goes.

I have done so much research on this whole teeth thing that my head is spinning and to be honest I am totally exhausted from having all of this info in my head. It doesn't help that it is mostly theory at the moment. It is like practising for your driving test without having a car!!!!!!!!!

I have had an extraction and spacers for 2 weeks, but that is just the start. The big journey is to come.

I will let you know how I get on as soon as I can.

:?

Good luck BeeHappy! I have Clarity upper and metal lowers, and people rarely notice that I even have braces, and you really can't even see them in most of my pictures. 40 minutes sounds awfully short though!

Hi there Bee!
I had my upper and lower ceramics glued on and wired in 30 mins! My ortho was playing cuban salsa music in the background and the tempo must have helped... luckily he didn't start twirling me around...
The glue is absolutely vile, but there's that lovely little plastic cup of magic pink liquid that washes it away.
Good luck for tomorrow - I hope it all goes quickly, smoothly and most importantly, painlessly!
There was a wonderful link on here some time ago of some chap being wired up, filmed on time lapse, which should make you smile! It took less than a minute! Sorry can't I find link, but it came from YouTube and was called something like braces or braced....

Good luck with your B-Day. I'll look forward to hearing how everything went because my B-day will be next Tuesday.
