gap still??

#1 Post by poloaa »

Am i alone? why i have gaps from time to time. I got my braces since May.2006, the est time was about 15-16 months, but now is more than i expect. Is that because i am too old(35)???
Thanks if anyone can give me advice.

I had gaps come and go through treatment (and I'm a fair bit older than you). Best to ask your ortho what still has to be done and roughly how long it might take.

Would they come back after the braces is off?????? I worry about this matter the most. One of my friends had the braces done in hong kong about years ago, her treatment was about 2 years. After the braces are done, she already felt that her teeth started to move again. I have heard that people should wear the retainer forever. Is that true??

Thanks.
