ive wondered that too. I mean almost everyone here has it in a circle but mine are like eights. Does it make a difference?

I think it's for a tighter fit. My sis first adjustment was an O design but then the ortho said that her teeth aren't moving and then she came out of the office with an 8 lig design.

And for my bottoms, I got dark pink ligs...I really dig this color!

Tin Indian- I almost tried that shade of green during my inital banding. Look awesome on you!

bracesafter40 and zefirynka- Wow you guys, very bold and very awesome. Love it!

hank hill- So jealous, I want criss crossed ligs too. Very cute!

missfashionista- Your ceramics are so white! Makes your teeth look even whiter! Your pink ligs looks really cute. They look close to the color pink I had. And the stand up well to coffee stain etc.

First adjustment, about 5 weeks after I started. I thought it might be helpful to those just starting out to see the staining potential of the different lig colors.

heres the color I have now (on top): periwinkle... I love it because its actually invisible! (and on the bottom, is silver btw.)

My first post in the lig colours thread! I got braced today, and these are the colours I chose - purple on top and dark pink on bottom. I like them, but I think the purple is a bit too dark for the top teeth, it makes them stand out a bit. Next adjustment I think I'll get either baby pink or dark pink on top, and baby blue on bottom. Or dark pink on top and baby pink on bottom.

Hi Melissa - how long have you had the periwinkles? I am curiuos to see if they stain (hope they don't!) since they appear almost clear or very very light in color.

The day I got my braces on I got purple (don't mind the yellow placement dots):

And yesterday I got hot pink:

I have some ideas for next time (in 2 weeks), but I'm gonna let it be a surprise.
