weird movement - does this seem normal? (pic included)

I took the bottom pic a few days ago to compare my teeth to last week and I was really surprised to find movement, but in the wrong way. My next adjustment isn't until 4/28. Before I call and bother my ortho I wanted to see if it's normal to have uneven movement like this? Right now the top wire only goes from canine to canine.

I chew more on my right (left side in pic) and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it. The top wire looks really curved now.

Should I be worried?

My wires got really slanty as well. The forces of your teeth pulling and pushing against each other to line up in the arch are likely doing it. my teeth went totally the wrong way in the beginning, I think because some teeth were more stubborn than others and were torquing the "loose" ones around, but they pulled themselves all into line after I got stiffer wires. Remember there's a lot going on up in your roots too.

That makes sense. It seems as if one of the laterals moved forward and straightened out a bit and that may have pushed the other teeth sideways.

Things often get worse before they get better.

Things are looking good for you as you've got early movement!!

Oh, I wouldn't worry, I've gone through that several times so far... my front uppers were fairly straight and they've been moving in weird ways until recently, when they seem to be straight and nice, and not only the front ones but all of them!

I guess it is just normal, moving the whole set of teeth requires some intermediate steps that might make them look like a mess, but if you feel anxious about that do not hesitate and call your ortho!
