i will be getting braces over the next couple months, 1 question i have is about my underbite he mentioned i will need surgery, but said my jaw wouldnt be wired shut when that happens, just cut slid forward then some screws put in, did he mispeak or is true that my jaw wont be wired shut?
I notice often people colloquially say underbite when they mean an overjet.. ...even one of my staff who'd actually had braces for an overjet/undeveloped lower jaw called it this.

I'm curious -- Meryaten had an easy recovery w/ a BSSO, I believe I've heard at least one person on here who had an easy recovery anyone with double jaw surgery have an easy recovery, or does that tend to belong in the domain of the lower jaw and/or to single-jaw surgeries?
