I'm afraid I've been guilty of questioning strangers with braces, but as you say XXNECRAXX, it's only because I was interested in having some myself.

Since I've made the decision to go ahead with the treatment, I have started to subconscientiously (dictionary!?) notice the state of un-braced people's teeth and whether they're straight or not. It's true that British teeth are not the best as a whole!
