A Couple of Questions

#1 Post by mwp921 »

My bottom teeth were pretty straight already when I was banded this second time. But after a couple of months in braces, it looks as if the front 4 teeth are being moved to an unpleasant position. Maybe it's the way my brackets are placed and maybe it's supposed to be this way, but here is what's happening. Normally when you look at a tooth it is flat on top. With my front 4 bottom teeth, one side of each tooth is now a tad higher than the other side, making them look as if they are leaning. What is going on here?

I'm having my back molars banded at my next appointment in a couple of weeks as well as getting a button so that they can place a chain to move a stubborn molar into alignment. It is in line with my other teeth, but it is somewhat turned. I have In-Ovation C's on top. How will this button/ chain thing work?

Thanks!

Don't worry. Really.
Your teeth are moving for a reason.
Totally normal. Your bottoms will be repositioned for your new bite.
I thought mine were pretty perfect at first but now after 19 months I totally see why things had to move about.
You'll love them and see the difference when finished.

Process, ahhh process.
