Question on lig colors?

#1 Post by Raven78 »

Okay heres my problem....

I am currently in college for Phlebotomy. And next quarter I have to work in a hospital for an 8 hour class one day a week.

Should I go for a plain color like grey that wont stick out as much or should I continue getting what ever I want?

Have what you like. Chances are, people will not notice anyway, and if they do, it'll distract them while you're putting the needle in!

I agree, get whatever the heck colour you want! :D

Recently I had a nursing placement at a hospital full time for a whole week, and I had purple and pink ligs, and it was not a problem :D

Thanks ladies.

I just didnt want them to think I wasnt professional enough.

At the school I am going to they are kinda strict. No rings of any kind (even wedding bands), earings, or necklaces.

'Professional' doesn't mean dull and boring! You can look and act professional and still be colorful. I work in a pretty stringent business environment and no one has said word one about my alternating hot pink/black ligs. I don't even have to have them, I choose to! What I mean is that my braces don't need ligatures, I don't know what type they are called, but I think they look better and are more fun to have a bit of color in my mouth than just the metal. I think next time I will do something with purple...
