Laser teeth whitening. Results? Expense?
So my braces should be coming off sometime soon, like after my next appointment in August(current pics coming later tonight!). Well, my next step is to get these things whitened. How much did it cost, how good were the results, and how bad was the sensitivity afterwards? Thanks!

I just made my appointment for my whitening. My dentist recommended the home method.....using the trays. That way I can control the sensitivity. If it gets to be too much I can stop for a while.
My friend just did the laser whitening in the office and she cried all night from the pain. I know whitening makes my teeth sensitive and I don't want to risk it. And the cost is $500 in office method vs $200 for the take home method.
My dentist does both and he recommends the take home. He said the results can be the same. It takes a little longer at home, but is less painful on both the teeth and the pocketbook. I used the trays before I got braces and was quite happy with the result.
