I am very sad braces problems please :(

My parents and I have reported this dentist who said in early 2007 that he also deals with orthodontics and has shown degrees and everything, he was only down the street from me, and I could easily commute there from school when needed. The problem was he kept delaying the treatment and making excuses putting appliances in and not going with the braces. He kept lying for months. We will be getting a refund, but I am going to be a senior in high school and have college coming up. He needs to get rid of the brackets on my teeth also, since he did not follow through and put the archwire in. I am furious and so are my parents. He has gotten reported. Here is a pic of my teeth situation before the brackets.

Ahem, yep lotta shady peps out there.

Make your appointment to get them removed as soon as you can. Then find a "orthodontist" not just a dentist and have them done correctly. Your picture shows you have healthy teeth, they have good shape. You'll love how they'll turn out!
You can make it work out even with college.

Bummer ajstyles04 - so sorry to hear you got off to a bad start! But the others are offering good advice. Go to a few orthos and find one who seems to be a good fit for you. You do have beautiful teeth, so you can expect a fantastic outcome!

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the kind words everyone; I will need to focus on school though as it starts Monday, and I need to get these brackets off my teeth, why would he put brackets on, if he did not know what he was even doing?

Gosh, this is a bad situation!

You have your priorities in the right order though!!! School first, deal with the brackets later.

Your smile will be beautiful when all of this is sorted out!

Good luck with school and your ortho search!!
