I'm not sure if i regret going the extraction route rather than the surgery now.. The worst thing is that the teeth are already extracted and i'm 4 months into braces already.
I had a mild underbite, with no crowding whatsoever, but the two lower teeth were extracted to correct the bite and pull back my lower lip, which is protrusive and thick.. I do think there will be some improvement in my profile in the months to come but i still can't help but think my chin is very tall. I think it throws my facial proportion off balance.. and although the jaw surgeon and my ortho says it's a strong manly chin, i don't like it. I should get down to asking my ortho about it the next adjustment. Would you guys give me an honest assessment please?
