WHAT IS THIS !!??

im a bit worried about a piece of tooth that has appeared, is this normal?
its only since ive had my braces on that it has popped out and ive only just noticed it, ive felt it a few times and thought i didnt think it was there before??

i probably sound really silly and paranoid.

on a different note, i advise that curry pot noodles of curry flavoured things are not a good idea, if you want to keep your ligs looking nice. mine were a lovely baby pink and are now an off shade of orange lol

Is that part of another tooth? Which one?

i think its part of my left lateral incisor, should it be showing like that ??

It looks like you have a new tooth trying to erupt. But if it is an extra tooth, it should have shown up in your x-rays...

I would have my ortho/dentist take a look at it if I were you. If it is a tooth trying to grow in, you will have to deal with it in some way to make sure that it doesnt interfere with your other teeth.

hmm , lol , there wasnt anything extra in the xrays, like ya said my ortho would have picked up on it. i think its like the back part of the incisor? it just doesnt look or feel right

My youngest had an extra projection from a tooth pre-braces. Showed it to the dentist and orthodontist, neither was worried. It's gone now, don't know where it went!!

I would certainly ask, doesn't look worry-some, but more curious...
