Overbite problem? newbie

#1 Post by bubsy08 »

hi im new to this site. I did have treatment to have my teeth straightened when I was younger but my dentist closed. I couldnt get registered with another dentist. My fixed brace then came off after about 2 months and there was nothing I could do. anyway its been a few years and I have noticed that I have an overbite of about 10mm and the bottom teeth are making the top of my mouth hurt. I have a dentist appointment on monday and was wondering what I should say to them? it is an nhs dentist will I have to pay? would I have to have jaw surgery? thanks
