Braces finally off

#1 Post by krennen »

Just thought I would share that after 3 years and 15 days I finally got my braces off!!!! I am an older patient (50+) so everything moved a little slower, I guess. I read this board a lot the first few months and gleaned a lot of information and moral support during this adventure with braces. I haven't been hanging around too much the last year or so--but I have thought of all of you adults out there with "metal mouths". Thanks to those who post and share their ideas, frustrations, concerns, and tips. They really do make a difference! :D

Krennan,

Congrats to you--I know just how you feel! I too, got my braces off today--was not in them quite as long as you (only 32 months and 2 days!) but just as excited to get them off. Over the past 2 1/2 years, I have looked up a lot of things here, and posted only occasionally. But this site was really a big help on my journey. Enjoy your new smile!
