I had my Herbst appliance and palatal expander installed in my mouth earlier. My jaw hurts so bad, and I can't eat. I look as if my chin is protruding. Need support.
I know im going to get the palate expander next month, Im a nervous wreck. Im also having the surgery(good times). My bite is way off now, with elastics with this expander Im thinking realy food may be a thing of the past. Is it really horrible?
