I HATE these spacers. The pain has only gotten worse over these 3 weeks.

I can hardly eat, had to take one out just to eat tonight. I put it back in and now it hurts more

I go in on Monday for my bottom braces. Do you all think it would be o.k. for me to take these spacers out tonight.

I just took some meds but I am really fed up now, just cant take it.

wow- spacers for 3 weeks......you have my sympathy. I had mine in for 2 weeks and was more then ready for them to be out at the end of the 2nd week. I did notice they bothered me more toward the end of wearing them because things were moving and then the spacer would move around while you were eating and wedge in a different place and that would start the hurt all over again. Best of luck- I hope Monday comes fast for you!

i am sorry to hear your in so much pain. I haven't had spacers myself but I've heard from several people that they aren't very fun! I am thinking if you take them out now it might not be a good idea because your teeth may move back to there original position a bit and then you may just end up having to wear the spacers even longer which wouldn't be good. Hang in there!!!! Hopefully monday will come quick for you!!!!

Yikes! I had spacers for a week and I hated it. It is hard to eat with them in because it feels like you're biting down on them and into the gums. Although mine were in so tight, it took the ortho to remove them. It's probably best to keep them in until it's time to get the braces on as your teeth could shift back and start the process all over.

Good luck!

another vote to keep them in ....... if you could not get one or more back in it just prolongs the time they need to be in .

although if you can get them in and out there must be space there ..... I doubt I could have done that with mine
