Hello!braces next week

Hello!!

I am a new member here and also new in braces!
This site is wonderful!

Ok..so last week i had spacers and today i just came back from the ortho and he put metal mands on my molars so i can get used to them,and then next week will go back to put my braces on(ceramic)
My teeth already feel a little loose when i put pressure on them..i think from the spacers?
today when he tried to take off some of the glue with that instrument my tooth felt like it was moving and i freaked out!

Is it normal to feel this way already?
Ι cant imagine how will be with braces on..and also when he will clean my teeth from the glue..i didnt like it at all..

I know it is for good so i guess will have to be more patient!

Please give me your thoughts..will be painful and how much?

hi
i had my braces put on on tuesday.it was painless while having them put on..i have had no pain yet but the teeth are a bit sore to touch but nothing major.also one tooth that has the molar band is sore tho but not sure why..i had a tooth move already

relax and you will be fine

hey!thanks for the reply,and good for you that you dont have any pain!

i hope i will be fine too and wont have a lot of pain next week!

But is it really normal to feel my teeth a little loose so early?
i guess from the spacers?..

I am thinking that i am not making the right decision about the whole braces thing..

Ι cant handle the pain and discomfort very easily..is it really worth it?

Any of you feel the same way?

my teeth had that loose feeling from the spacers as well----------it gets worse when the braces go on, but I do think the end result is worth it!!

Hi Catalina! welcome!
i had spacers on tuesday and braces put on this morning.

last week i had a tough time sleeping just thinking about the decision to have braces. I'm 26 and didn't know if I should do it. I had already come so far I did not want to back out. My philosophy was- the sooner i get them on the sooner they'll be off.
A year from now i didnt want to be thinking- "man i should have just done it last year"
so i took the plunge and so far so good!
my braces look awesome if i do say so myself!

the metal molar bands were by far the worst part for me- so if youre already done with that the next part will be a breeze!

Pixelbrace,your braces look awesome!!wow!and your teeth look great too!
when did you get them on and how was it?
Αlso,did you experience the same feeling with slightly loose teeth from spacers?

Οh..and one thing i dont understand is why the ortho didnt put the braces on today..as i can understand all the people here first have the spacers and right after the braces..
