the 18 year old assistant placed the brackets? if anything that would be the one thing that i would want for the orthodontist to do. i have read on here sometimes they do take off a bracket and readjust it due to the movement of the teeth. still i would want the orthodontist to place them on, with my money being paid i want the ortho placing the brackets, the assistant can put in the archwire.

i know when i got my braces put on like 7 weeks ago the assitant did the whole cleaning and preparation of my teeth and then when it was time for the placement of the braces the ortho came and put them on. once he put them on and they were glued and set the assitant then inserted the archwire. i had the damon braces i don't know if with the conventional braces if it is necessary for the orthodontist to put it on or not.
