Can you see any changes?

#1 Post by amandad09 »

Although it is hard to get the same angle twice when taking a picture, I think I can see some changes - especially in the shape of the arch wire. What can you see??

The clear braces are effective in showing progress, I think your getting there slowly.

definately the wire is straighter, and I don't think that is slow progress per a previous poster, I think it's great for only 4-5weeks, congrats!!

That's what I thought about my left side particularly. I'm glad it's not just wishful thinking!

our initial top sides are really similar (left with high canine, right with the lateral incisor behind the central). Your left canine really moved (into the arch and downer). I think is a good 5 weeks progress :D

Definitely changes !! And very fast movement only after 5 weeks!! Congrats!!!

I keep taking pics of my teeth everyday and it drained me to see not much movement. Maybe i should stop taking pic of my teeth everyday and hoping for tiny changes! :)

There is definitely a change!
Once you continue to take pics to track your progress you'll absolutely notice the changes otherwise, in my opinion, you wouldn't even notice.

WOW! Congratulations! My top braces have been on for just about a month, and I have been taking pictures too. I see little changes, but thanks for sharing your pictures, it really made me excited to keep looking at the changes going on inside my mouth.

I take photos once a week for my blog. I think daily pictures might be disheartening especially after the first few weeks. Someone told me that they thought weekly pictures were excessive but I, like you, feel better when I can look and see a difference. As a warning, however, there are ugly stages in braces that I have begun to explore where my teeth actually look worse than when I started! My plan is to take all the pictures and make a fast paced slideshow movie so others can get an idea of one person's treatment.
