impacted canine teeth suck :(

#1 Post by hollisteraddict »

i'm 15 and unfortuenetly my canine teeth are not in place
the canine teeth are all the way out but they cant come down bcuz the teeth under them have to be removed and all that. soo i just really want to know how long it will take to pull them down even though they are already sooo close to being in place. ughhh does anybody have that same problem? like you could just BARELY smile and ur ugly canine teeth show? its so depressing  ohh and how long is the process like do u get the chain on and everything in 1 appointment? or does it take like a month to get done bcuz u have to go back and forth from the ortho to the surgeon? @#$%^^&*&^$%# i just want to have pretty teeth already godd..

I wish :(
My impacted canines were practically horizontal with 0% of coming down without hurting other teeth in the process.

I cried so badly when I found out I had to get them removed and couldn't pull them down... :(

My top right canine was impacted completely, baby tooth in place until I was 17 and I had it removed. When I had the surgery, they attached the link chain to it in the same day. That was in November 07. I get my braces off in 11 days!! SO excited:D

I have been through that surgery 3 times now. The first one was in February and for some reason the chain and bracket kept popping off the tooth. Well the last time I had the surgery within 2 weeks it popped off again. I got into the Ortho the beginning of October for a adjustment and to talk about my other options.
