Permanent Puffed Cheeks a result of braces??

I am sorry to see that you are having a really rough time, I hope over time it gets better. :(


Although I sure not everyone's experience will be the same.Try gargling with warm salt water, it seemed to help me I had no bleeding, cut jaws/lips, and I didn't have to use wax, I did it after brushing, middle of the day, and before bed...it seemed to help.

I think it'll be fine. After a few months I didn't need wax except for occasional problems.

I found massaging the inside of my mouth in the morning just after waking up helped. *Washed hands first* and then I would smooth out all the braces indentations I got in my cheeks while sleeping. Massaging my gums felt nice, too, as my teeth hurt.

LOL I'm so glad I read this post. I do the EXACT same thing. I always wonder if people think i'm strange for puffing out my cheeks all the time. Glad I'm not the only one.
