6 month braces are a cosmetic orthodontic alternative to long term comprehenisve orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry procedures such as bonding and porcelain veneers. The treatment goals are more related to cosmetic correction of the teeth in your smile line. That isnt to say that some bite change is not done it just isnt the main goal of treatment.

It is a great alternative for those that refuse long term braces wear or do not want their teeth shaped for cosmetic dentistry.

There are 2 main SPAMMERS LIKE ME in this arena:

1. Powerprox Six Month Braces
2. Six Month Smiles

I happen to be the developer of Powerprox Six Month Braces and have been providing it in one form or another for well over a decade. I have been teaching doctors for about 7 years or so. Six month smile is actually taught by a former student of mine who has been a dentist for a few years now. Again it is a nice treatment alternative for those who refuse long term braces wear or other cosmetic dentistry techniques. Personally I use clear and lingual braces with the technique.

Hope this helped.

Mine are costing £2,500. But this can obviously vary region to region.

Fees will vary from doctor to doctor and will depend on the type of braces used (metal, clear, lingual)

I was thinking of doing this OR Invisalign. My questions are: 1) does it also correct lower teeth (even if they don't know in your smile?) 2) does it HURT?!
3) anyone choose this OVER Invisalign and why?

Thanks!
