How long have you have braces ?

i have had mine for 5 months and i will have them 18 to 24 months ..

2 and a half months now for my upper braces, my lower will come soon. i don't know exactly how long it will take but the standard time it's around 2 years

I've had them for 8 months. I was told 18 months total, but as it looks now, it'll be close to a year for me. That's why it's called an estimate. I didn't need any bite adjustment as everything seemed to fall right where they were supposed to, so I'ms ure that knocked a few months off.

I've had mine on now about about 5.5 weeks. Estimated time given by ortho was 20-30 months.

I was estimated at 24-36 months but my teeth moved fast, and I was on a 4-week adjustment plan. I got them off today, after just 11 months and 3 weeks (my one-year braceversary is next wednesday).

It varies by person, what kind of braces, and how often they're adjusted

I got mine off a whole year to two years early!

Had them for 15 months aprox from an original 18 month estimate - my hunch is that it will be like 24 months rather than 18...

I am nearing my one-year anniversary. Initially I was scheduled to have them in for 18-24 months, but the ortho is pleased with my progressed and has actually shortened my sentence. Unless something dramatic happens, I may be debraced in about 4-5 months!

I've done over 2 and a half years and I was told 2-3 years so I suppose I'm pretty much on track. Have deifinately had enough now though. I had to have an extra tooth out on one side because it was a gold crown that fell out when it was banded

so there are two gaps to close on my upper left side and although one has closed the other is dragging its heels! They can't come off until that one closes and it can't come quick enough for me!

I've had my braces on for 2 years and 2 months. Total estimated time in braces was 30 months. According to that I should be done next month, but I have about 3 months to go. I'm hoping to be debraced before Christmas but I don't know if that will happen! lol

Exactly 2 years this past week...and it's probably going to be another 6 months. I have two extraction gaps that need to close up, and also working on correcting my overbite.

Ugh, I'm so sick of them.

I was braced April 30th and my ortho has promised they will be off by next June/July.. so just one summer in braces.
Can't wait to get them off. Just had sushi for lunch and I think half of it is still stuck to my braces! *
Off to brush again!

So far I have had them on for 8 months. I need another 6-8 months until double-jaw surgery and the 1-6 months after that...
