I need your help!
the hook at the molar band is getting inside my cheek/gum and irritate me soo much!
what can i do?will my cheek be hard enough the next days or it is something more serious?
actually my cheek is swollen and cover half of the hook!
That has happened to me. In fact, I had a molar band put on yesterday! Just cover the hook with some wax and get some Anbesol for your tender cheeks. Over time, the inside of your mouth will get tougher and you will no longer need wax. Hang in there, you will feel better soon!
Same here. Just had bands put on a couple days ago. I put wax on at night when I sleep and the sore spots are a little better every day. Hang in there.
I just got my braces today. The most irritating part is the hook on the upper left molar band. That thing drove me crazy from the first second they put it on. It is buried in wax right now so we'll see if that helps.
