You only ever live once and would'nt you rather live that once looking your best!

Just close your eyes, get the braces on and before you know it, they will be off again and you will have the smile of a model ;) !

Also, get some English classes while you're at it. Girls love a bloke who can talk English properly.

Good luck with the consultation, Stokie. It's a hugely difficult decision (I put it off for years) but it's so worth it. There's really no reason to be nervous -- you've made the decision and that's the hard part.

As for your question, it took about 5 weeks for me between consultation and bracing, but that was over the holiday period, so it might be shorter for you.

So go for it! (And just ignore unhelpful and rude comments!)

Hi Stokie,
Let us know how it goes. For me after the consultation, I had a records appt where they took molds and then it was a few weeks to the appt where I got braces. Apparently the ortho needs time to study the molds and plan the placement of brackets using the molds and x-rays.

Take some etiquette lessons. We all love a bloke who can post politely and on-topic.
How old are you??

Hope it went well. It could be months before you get your braces, or just weeks. It depends on what pre-treatment you need.

This is very rude. Perhaps we can't all be as perfect at written English as you are.
