Niti wire braces??

Anybody have experiences with these. My dentist is recommending them, she said the wire goes back to its original shape, even NASA uses this nickel titanium for satellites (well if NASA is using them they must be great :oops: )

Any advise or suggestions, much obliged

For what it is worth, virtually every fixed braces treatment will use NiTi wires for initial alignment, followed by a more rigid wire. This has been around for many years and, despite being used by NASA, is very widespread :).

Nickel-titanium is still exciting even though it has been used for a long time.
Sure beats the old way we had to do it thats for sure.
