Crooked right lateral incisor

Hi, i'm 26 and want to get braces but would like to know if anyone could post a before/after pic, as i have a crooked right lateral incisor which goes behind my lower teeth when i bite down and i want to get it straightened so it's back at the front but not sure if it's possible to get it done and would just like to see some proof if anyone has had similier problem with there teeth, thanks.

Sound like a fairly typical anterior cross bite. These are corrected all of the time.

It's amazing what these little chains and bands can do. Have you had a consultation with an orthodontist? If you're apprehensive about treatment results, then I would suggest visiting with a couple of orthodontists first to get a feel for what type of treatment and results you're looking at. These consultations are generally free of charge, and the GOOD ones will be pretty lengthy and in-depth. That's the office I would personally go with for the treatment.

As far as pictures, there are many great before/after pictures on these boards that might give you an idea of how much braces can transform your teeth -- ANY teeth. I have pictures posted, but I don't have a crossbite. You're still more than welcome to take a look, of course. :)
