i had a lower power chain put on yesterday to close a gap..i was in agony all night. so i took an advil and used a heating pad on my face most of the night. i just went to brush my teeth and that agony was worth it because the gap has completely closed overnight..is this even possible???? the best part is no pain today..hope my 2 top gaps closes that fast..

now a question..how on earth dio u floss under the power chain??? my teeth were so sore last night I didnt try last night..any tips?

32- I think we were braced at around the same time!! I have been in mini power chains for almost 3 months to close a canine gap--yes, it can pull closed that much overnight!! It's totally amazing!! my gap (about 1/2 the size of a tooth--because it's from shifting, not extraction)--closed fully in less than 3months!! Unfortunatly, the same gap now exists b/t the canine and the tooth in front of it--but that should be taken care of at my Jan appt!! Goodbye spaces!!

Yes, you can thread the floss under the powerchain and archwire, just like you would with just an archwire--no change there!! except I do find the powerchain does cause more stuff to get caught--and my waterpik is still a best friend for that!!
