Money Back

#1 Post by kimous »

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what to do next. I am pretty depressed about how my treatment is going. Now i have bite issues that i never had before. I am close to the end of treatment and i went for a second opinion today and has pointed out that my teeth do look like they are not in the right position and my bite is right.

Does anyone know if you can ask for your money back if you dont get atleast decent results from your current orthodontist who is nearly finished your treatment with teeth and bite that is worse off then when you started treatment.

Is it possible?

It's possible, but very unlikely. You'd need proof, go to court, pay for a lawyer, etc. It's just not worth it.
my bite is right.
? If your bite is right, doesn't that mean your ortho has done what he was meant to?

You're basically telling my story. No advice but I'm so stressed about my teeth when I don't have the energy to be. I'm sorry, I can commiserate with you!

i know in my contract i signed yesterday it said that everything will be fixed to their abiltiy and there are some things that may not be able to be fixed perfectly! im hoping everything will be fixed correctly cuz after paying 4200 for my braces i will be mad if everything is messed up!

I know I signed a contract that somewhat protects them from being sued for this sort of thing. It basically stated something along the lines of not always being able to achieve optimal results. But if your teeth are worse than when you began I imagine you may have some recourse. Legally though if you aren't finished with whatever timeline they indicated you may be stuck with having to let them fix things up to that point.
