I'm so excited -- my teeth are finally nakkie!!! :jump: I posted my whole story in the "Naked Tooth" boards, and I'll post pictures there tomorrow. Debracing was a breeze -- even with ceramics! And surprisingly enough, this Essix retainer is pretty comfortable. I'm SO thrilled!

debrace day: jan 18th 2010!!!! *has 2 fixed retainers and an essix retainer for night time now!

FINALLY getting around to those pics! 8) I can't stop smiling these days; it's SUCH a relief to be rid of those vampire teeth and that awful overbite. Sooo...here we go:

It may not be movie-star quality, and it may not be anyone's definition of perfect (judging by some of the posts I've read recently). My midline is off, I'd like my teeth whiter and my canines bonded to be more square, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new smile! I'm not embarrassed to smile big cheesy smiles, and I'm excited to start sending out resume reels to television news stations.

Wow, you guys...your kind words seriously brought tears to my eyes. I've never had anyone compliment my smile, nor has anyone ever said that my teeth were perfect. :) Thank you all SO much for your support and kindness. This is why I have enjoyed coming to ArchWired so much in the past year! I only wish I'd started posting earlier, but I'm glad to be here now and sharing in everyone's journeys. :heart:
