Hello all.

Quick question. My orto fits 'modules' to my archwires during appointments. They seem like tiny metal bands that fit or are swueezed arounf the archwire, between brackets...................can anyone identify their purpose??

I believe they are to keep the wire from shifting.

They are called "stops" and are meant to keep the wire from sliding.
