New and Color Ligatures ?

So glad I found this site today. Just got my braces March 3rd. Only on top. I am 46 and just tired of a smile with spaces in between.

My mouth was sore the first week...but now my teeth are just tender if I try to bite into anything. I go back for my first adjustment this Tuesday.

This is my question....I got light pink ligatures , and trying to decide if I need to do just silver next time. Do any of you get colors ? or think that is just for kids ? My hubby loves the light pink. But I don't want to get a color that will make me look weird...or make my teeth look yellow or anything.

Any suggestions on color ?

search for the thread called "lig colours". It should ony be a few pages back. Its over a hundred pages of everyones different lig colours!
